Meet The Baker

Hi friends! My name is Alannah Janae Weathers, a 19-year-old baker from Suffolk, VA, and the proud owner of Janae’s House of Bread.

My passion for baking flourished at the age of 7, when I began assisting my mother and others in the kitchen. That early spark grew into a passion, and by the grace of God, I opened Janae’s House of Bread, located in Hampton Roads, VA, during the height of the pandemic when I was 14 years old. We are a faith-based, minority owned company committed to providing top-tier service that will have you returning for more. As we say, "Taste & See," our baked goods won't disappoint. Thanks to the support of our community, my immediate and church family, Janae’s House of Bread has grown steadily and continues to prosper.
