Meet The Baker

My name is Alannah Janae Weathers, I’m a 17 year old baker from Suffolk, VA. My passion for baking flourished at the age of 7, when I began assisting my mother and others in the kitchen. In March of 2020, by the grace of God, I opened Janae’s House of Bread located in Hampton Roads, VA during the height of the pandemic. We are a faith based minority owned business with a mission of providing top tier service that will have you returning for more. As we say "Taste & See" our baked goods won't disappoint. With much support from the community, my immediate and church family, Janae’s House of Bread has been very successful and will have been in existence for 4 years in March of 2024!
